Exmouth Crowned National Top Tourism Town

The Shire of Exmouth is celebrating another significant milestone in its tourism journey, after being named one of Australia’s most beautiful towns online the Australian Tourism Council named Exmouth as the National Top Tourism Town with less than 5,000 residents.

The Australian Top Tourism Town Awards are presented by the Australian Tourism Industry Council and supported by Tourism Australia. Finalists in each category have won at a state level through a process involving industry panel judges and a public vote.

This recognition reflects the region's unique natural beauty, diverse experiences, and tireless commitment of the community to providing world-class hospitality. It underscores the exceptional work and dedication of the local tourism industry, community, and stakeholders to create a welcoming and memorable environment for visitors.

The Shire of Exmouth would like to express its sincere gratitude to all those involved in making this achievement possible. While this award is a tremendous honour, it also highlights the growing need for sustainable tourism practices that align with infrastructure development in the region.

The Shire of Exmouth calls upon stakeholders, including tourism operators, residents, and government agencies, to join us in this endeavour.
